Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival

When thinking of the name Breckenridge, your mind more often than not drifts to riding endless powder runs in the depths of the winter. Although this is arguably the best part about visiting Breckenridge, many don’t know about the almost endless number of street festivals and events take over the town almost weekly. These festivals tend to focus on three main drawing points: alcohol, art and mountain culture. Our next large festival coming through town is no exception. The Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival combines several Rocky Mountain distilleries with the amazing atmosphere of fall in the Rockies.

This year’s Craft Spirits Festival is sure to sell out, as last year’s did, with its great diversity of offerings. This year’s event will boast over 25 different distilleries with several different selections of flavored whiskies, vodkas, gins and bourbons. The event is great for single malt enthusiasts as well as the casual drinker who is looking to expand their knowledge on the subject. Side activities include Preston Ghost Town & Gold Mine Tour, which is an excellent option for families as well as spirited enthusiasts. For those looking to pair the finest of single malt whiskies with the perfect porterhouse steak, look no further than their Spirited Cooking Class at CMC is the excursion for you!

Once the festivities have wrapped up in town, join the rest of us at Hangover Brunch Sunday morning at select Main Street eateries to enjoy the last of the hand crafted spirits until next year’s event.
