This is the newest peak to the Breckenridge Ski Resort. No matter where you go, you will have some pretty amazing views. Head up the Kenosho Superchair for some of the best hike-to-terrain around. The hike to the top of Peak 6 will take your breath away, literally! If you do not feel like making the extra push to the top, then to skiers left check out Wonderland and to skiers right Déjà vu. You can’t go wrong!

Peak 7

If you enjoy dipping into the trees, then go skiers left once you hop off Independence Chair Lift and head into Wanderlust and Ore Bucket. You may just find some fresh powder in there on the right days. It will remind you of why you love this sport! Make sure to check out the newest restaurant addition to Peak 7, Pioneer Crossing.

If you are new to the sport, then peak 8 is a great place to find some green runs like Springmeier and Swinger. If you are looking to explore past the green runs then head on up the Imperial Express Super Chair. You can say you have been on the highest lift in North America! From there if you tackle the short hike to the peak, anywhere that looks good to drop in is up to you! If you choose to skip on the hike, traverse over to Whales Tail. Make sure to take a moment and look around; the views are breathtaking!

Peak 9

Head on up E Chair and drop in on Twin Chutes and Windows. This area can be a lot of fun and a great place to get away from the crowds. If you are steering clear of anything challenging, Peak 9 has a lot of green and blue runs you can enjoy. If you feel like venturing out and want to start hitting the park, then Bonanza is a small park that has features that are great to learn on.

Peak 10

Hop on the Falcon Super Chair and go skiers left to The Burn. This area can be a hit or miss depending on conditions. When snow is good, it can be a blast in there! If you are feeling a bit adventurous head on over to the Mustang Booter. You can also hike Peak 10 up to Ballroom!

Now that you know some of my favorite places to ride in Breckenridge, it is your turn to explore and find which ones you love! When the winter season ends, and the rivers start flowing and sun starts to shine, make sure to check out Breckenridge Whitewater Rafting to add some more adventure to your life.
