24 Hours of Browns Canyon
An excellent weekend getaway! This trip is our Browns Canyon Sizzler trip set up as an overnight white water rafting trip. Packed with stunning scenery, thrilling whitewater and secluded riverside camping in a proposed federal Wilderness Area, it’s the perfect river trip for groups and families searching for an adventurous bonding experience. You’ll arrive mid-afternoon the first day, raft into Browns Canyon, camp and have a hearty dinner in the canyon. A gear raft with all of your personal gear and provisions for the overnight will accompany you.
You’ll awake to a delicious breakfast in the canyon, paddle out mid-morning and be back at your car before noon the second day.
Bring your sleeping bag; we’ll handle everything else. If you don’t have a sleeping bag, check with the Breckenridge Whitewater Rafting office to arrange rental (sleeping bags must be reserved ahead of time) or just steal your guide’s! Minimum age 7 yrs/50 lbs.

3 Day Mild to Wild
The ultimate overnight white water rafting experience in Colorado! Your first two days are full of intermediate whitewater fun before hitting the most advanced whitewater on the Arkansas River on Day 3. The first night you’ll camp in the majestic and remote Browns Canyon while your guides prepare a gourmet dinner for you. Hiking and fishing options abound at camp, or just relax under the stars.
Wake up to a delicious breakfast and raft the rest of the canyon through rapids like Zoom Flume, the Seven Stairs and Seidel’s Suckhole. Halfway through the day, take a break as your guides prepare a riverside lunch for you. After Lunch you’ll jump into Inflatable Kayaks (duckies) and paddle them to the take out. At the end of your second day on the river, we’ll pick you up and drive you further north upstream to another riverside camp. But wait–the fun’s not over! Spend the remainder of the afternoon rock climbing and rappelling riverside in Granite Gorge. No experience necessary; we’ll teach you all you need to know.
On the third morning, after a hearty breakfast, prepare to run the most exhilarating whitewater on the Arkansas, the Class IV & V Pine Creek and the Numbers—also known as “The Gauntlet!” But first you’ll rappel from your camp down into Granite Gorge, where you’ll meet your rafts for this incredible day. This trip provides the perfect progression from intermediate to the most advanced whitewater. We take care of all the details; all you need to bring is your sleeping bag. Minimum age 15 yrs.

For the perfect weekend getaway in the mountains, this river trip will take you through Browns Canyon where you’ll spend the night under the stars. After a full day of whitewater rafting and spending the night in the great outdoors, you and your group will pack up the camp and head back to the river. The river trips ends as you successfully reach the end of Browns Canyon where you’ll enjoy a nice lunch by the river and dry off in preparation for your next adventure. Even though you’ve seen the beautiful Colorado mountains before, you’ve never seen them like this. Zip line tours through the Arkansas Valley will take you through the wilderness in a way you haven’t experienced. Sail through the tree line and next to magnificent rock faces as you explore nature from above. The zip lines run though our 44-acre Gold Camp property in the Arkansas Valley.
