Founded in 1859 by prospectors in search of their fortune, Breckenridge Colorado is a quaint little mountain town that sits 9600 feet above sea level. Although today Breckenridge is known as a world class ski resort, most locals will tell you that “they came for the winter but stayed for the summer”.
With 300 days of sunshine, summer in Breckenridge offers endless activities including hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, golfing, and a fun park featuring the Gold Runner Alpine Coaster. Also in close proximity to town, is boating on Lake Dillon and some amazing whitewater rafting on
several different nearby rivers ranging from family float trips to high adrenaline class V rapids.
