Whitewater Rafting on the Blue River

This section of whitewater is dependent on water flow releases from Dillon Reservoir but is only minutes from Breckenridge! Three miles of continuous whitewater punctuated with breathtaking views of the Gore Range. A great family rafting trip for rafters of all abilities. The Blue River has a very short season, so check for availability.

Many more Whitewater Rafting Trips will definitely run at great levels this summer too! Try the Arkansas River, Colorado River or Clear Creek.

Blue River Rafting – Breckenridge and Keystone

We’ll meet you near the Blue River on Hwy 9 north of Silverthorne, where the intermediate whitewater fun begins. After changing into wet suits and splash jackets (if the weather warrants their use), you’ll get a thorough safety talk from your guides. Hop in the raft and start learning to paddle as a group. Before you know it, you’ll be facing the rapids and working together as a team to navigate the river.  Just don’t expect to stay dry! At the end of the trip, an AVA vehicle will be waiting to pick you up.  The backdrop of the steep and craggy Gore Range provides some of the most beautiful view you’ll find on any river.
