Upper Clear Creek Half Day

Starting at 8,000 feet in elevation, this little whitewater creek packs a serious punch and is perfect for intermediate rafters. Continuous intermediate+ to advanced whitewater makes for a wild ride off the Continental Divide. Double Knife and Outer Limits Rapids test the skills of the most experienced boaters. With five departures daily and only 30 miles from Denver, come experience for yourself why we consider rafting on the Clear Creek to be an incredible gem on our river roster.

Outer Limits 3/4 Day

Enjoy a full day of whitewater rafting on Clear Creek…from mild to wild!  Start out the day on our Gold Rush section, splashing through 11 back-to-back rapids.  It’s the perfect opportunity to go from novice paddler to experienced whitewater rafter in a single morning.  After a break for lunch, it’s time to take on the Upper Clear Creek section, with rapids like Phoenix, Nomad, and Outer Limits.  This steep, technical stretch will keep your heart pumping until the end of the trip!  Minimum age 15 yrs, good physical condition recommended.

Upper Clear Creek + Zipline Package:

After a scenic nature hike to get to the start of our 6-line course, take on some serious zipline fun of varying length through the trees and cliffs before crossing over Chicago Creek for an exhilarating finish. Take a break for lunch, then get ready for our action-packed Clear Creek Intermediate rafting trip. to conquer some of the most intense whitewater on Clear Creek!  You’ll hit about 30 rapids on this 8-mile trip that drops an incredible 1,300 vertical feet. This continuous, steep, technical section will keep your paddle moving and your heart thumping as your crash through pulsing, Class IV rapids such as Phoenix, Nomad, Falls Creek, and Outer Limits. This is a physically demanding trip requiring good physical condition and a minimum age of 15*. Trip may be run with zipline first or rafting trip first. Between trips you’ll have time to head into the town of Idaho Springs (just a 5 minute walk or 2 min drive) to enjoy one of the town’s great eating establishments.
