With winter right around the corner, there are still a lot of great fall activities to keep the whole family entertained until ski season begins! One very popular activity in the fall months is horseback riding. With so many beautiful places to ride, it is no surprise that this is one of the more popular activities around Summit County during the fall months. If you are staying in the Breckenridge or the Summit Country area, you will definitely want to visit us on Peak 9 within the ski resort. Our Breckenridge trail rides are very unique in that participants get to experience trail riding on the ski resort! Trail rides on Breckenridge feature stunning views of the rocky mountain range as well as opportunities for wildlife sightings around the wilderness area. Breckenridge stables offers true trail rides that last one hour and thirty minutes.
Riders will get to tour the resort with a professional guide. Your guide will educate participants on the area including history and local information. Along with the beautiful scenery, you will be exploring beaver ponds, river crossings and not to mention, breathtaking views of the continental divide. The stables feature over 100 horses and are able to match any riding ability with the right horse.
If you’re looking for something a bit more exclusive, our stables also offer Dinner Rides that are sure to provide a unique experience. Arrive at the stables in the early evening before embarking on a beautiful trail ride. After working up an appetite on your ride, you will sit down to a delicious all you can eat dinner buffet complete with live music to entertain you during your meal!
