Events in Breck This Month!

October is a pretty quiet time in Summit County, which means less traffic, less busy events and quality time with the great outdoors. The events this month are less popular than some of Breck’s big summer and winter events, but no less worthy. Read on for the best events in Breck this month!

Bryan Smith, an award-winning filmmaker for the National Geographic Channel, made his Breckenridge debut last month for his three-part series. He’s back this month to share his stories from the exciting assignments he’s been a part of. Get an exciting, behind-the-scenes look into what it’s like to venture to some of the most remote, dangerous locations.

Head back over to the Riverwalk Center for a fun filled day celebrating fall! This free event has fun for the whole family, including a bounce house, trampolines, face painting, pumpkin decorating, caramel apples and a costume parade.

Fall is, arguably, one of the best times of the year in Breckenridge. The town is quiet, the trees are changing, and the events aren’t as overwhelmingly packed as, say, Oktoberfest or the Pro Cycling Challenge. Take advantage of this quiet time to experience some of Breck’s great October events!
