Visit the Country Boy Mine and pan for gold. Keep what you find and have a real gold mining experience descending more than 1,000 feet into the mountain. Breckenridge Creative Arts sponsors events, classes, workshops, tours, open studios, and Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) to honor our ancestors and keep memories alive. This event runs from October 5th through November 1st.

The Cliffside Zipline and Mount Evans Via Ferrata are thrilling ways to experience the mountains in beautiful Idaho Springs. Fly 300 feet over Chicago Creek. Our Cliffside trip includes 7 ziplines and an assortment of bridges. The Via Ferrata is a combination of rock climbing, rappelling and includes 3 ziplines.
Adventure awaits on our Cliffside Zipline, just 45 minutes southeast of Breckenridge. This tour includes over six ziplines, a 50-foot free fall, surf zip, and jungle swing. We provide all the gear, including seat and chest harness, trolley system, 2 lanyards with clips, gloves, and helmet. All you need is sun protection and secure closed-toed shoes. It is wise to dress in layers due to our spontaneous weather.
Via Ferrata, Italian for “iron road” was created for troops to traverse steep mountains during World War I. Using fixed ladders, cables, bridges, and iron bars(steps) to traverse across and up cliff walls.
The Mount Evans Via Ferrata is an exciting tour with a 70-foot rappel, 50-foot freefall (optional), and 3 fast ziplines. The gear included with this kit includes a helmet, harness, and lanyard with 2 locking carabiners. Closed-toed shoes and a desire for adventure are all that is required.
