The end of summer celebration, more commonly known as Labor Day, is quickly approaching. This is a time to get your friends or your family all together and send summer out with a Bang! Ziplining with AVA!
Less than a one hour drive from BEAUTIFUL Breckenridge, Colorado is the amazing AVA Cliffside Zipline Course! Start out at our Idaho Springs Outpost by having some hot coffee, meeting your guides, and getting geared up. Next, AVA will transport you in ou r super cool zip truck to the top of the mountain, behind their Outpost. Here, you will start the first of your 6 epic zips, zig zagging down the side of the mountain off of cliff ledges and even trees! In addition, to the 6 ziplines, you will have the opportunity to experience multiple swinging log bridges, a stand up surf zip and our newest feature, the free fall! This is definitely a Labor Day weekend adventure you should not miss.
Rubber Duck Races!
Celebrating their 27th year of rubber duckie racing, the Summit Foundation is presenting their famous race on Saturday, August 30th. Come check out the multiple different races occurring on the Blue River, right in the heart of Breckenridge. Family activities start the day off at 11 am, but don’t forget to hang out for the finale when almost 10,000 of our little rubber friends will race down the Blue River from Main Street Station. The first 50 ducky’s to make it to the finish line will surprise their buyers with one of numerous awesome prizes, including a 1 week vacation to a destination of their choosing!
Sidewalk Sale Days!

Rafting and Renting on the Upper Colorado River!
Some of the best rafting available at the end of the season is once again available on the Upper Colorado River. Take the time to spend a day relaxing under sunny skies (with hopefully no rain clouds), floating on a family raft trip, individual inflatable kayak (duckie) or standup paddleboard (S.U.P). And don’t forget about the Class V+ rapids on Gore Canyon, which will still be raftable until September 1st. Come and get it while you can.
