December 1st – 31st, Breckenridge Heritage Alliance Tours: The Breckenridge Heritage Alliance is offering several types of tours during the month of December. December 5th, Lighting of Breckenridge/Race of the Santas: Festivities kick off around 2 pm with dancers and singers at the Blue River Plaza. Race of the Santas, where hundreds of people dress up as Santa and race down Main Street, starts mid-afternoon. Cookies, hot cocoa, and tree lighting follow along with a Bernese Mountain Dog Parade.

December 11th, Winter Ice Show Around the World: Enjoy local youth and adult figure-skaters along with former professional skaters showcase their skills. Doors open at 7:00 pm at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena ($6 tickets, kids 3 & under enter FREE).
December 22nd – 30th, A Christmas Story Stage Adaptation: Enjoy Breckenridge’s on stage adaptation of “A Christmas Story”; a tale of American Christmas and growing up in the midwest. Find more information at TownofBreckenridge.com.
