Breckenridge is one of the biggest tourist destinations in Colorado. It is definitely a town with a lot of personality and it can sometimes be fairly easy to tell who is here on vacation and who has been living here for awhile. Here are a few tips on how to navigate Breck like a local!

If you’re looking for a place with great coffee and great food check out Cuppa Joe. This small coffee shop has some of the best coffee in town. The coffee beans are roasted to perfection and is quality tested to make sure that you are truly getting the best coffee. If you’re looking to get a little breakfast before heading out to ski be sure to try their breakfast burritos as well!

If you’re a fan of micro-brews, The Broken Compass is the place to be. This small brewery has some amazing drinks. Yes, the taproom may be a little smaller but do not let that discourage you. It is definitely breck speakeasy_facebookworth the stop! If you would like to try something on the spicy side give the Chili Pepper Pale Ale a try and you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re looking for some entertainment, be sure to check out The Speakeasy Movie Theatre. This small movie theater is located right below the Breckenridge Public Library. It isn’t an IMAX but it is a great spot for a date night with your significant other or spend some time with friends. Unlike most theaters they serve alcohol as well.
