Catch a movie in the recently renovated Community Center. Not only can you buy the typical movie snacks like popcorn, candy, and soda, but you can also grab a beer or a glass of wine. While you’re at it, swing by the beautiful library which is in the same building.

Just because it’s rainy, doesn’t mean you can’t be active! Breckenridge hosts a world class recreation facility with plenty of options for playing inside. One crack at the rope swing should be enough to remind anyone that the Breckenridge Recreation Center isn’t an ordinary fitness gym. Still not convinced? Take a trip down the waterslide or pull on sticky shoes for a go at the climbing wall. Oh yeah, there’s a track, tennis courts, racquetball court, weights, cardio equipment, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, basketball court and more!

With two different Escape rooms available (Escape Room Breckenridge and Mountain Time Escape Rooms) in Breckenridge there are plenty of chances to test your brain power.

The Ice Arena offers ice skating, hockey and games for the whole family. Public skating and hockey sessions are generally offered daily. Group and private lessons and equipment rentals are available for all levels of skaters. Get out and play, watch the action of the year-round hockey leagues, or check out other ice sports like curling and broomball. The fully-stocked pro shop and friendly staff can get you on the ice and ready to skate so you’ll have a fantastic skating experience in Breckenridge!

Visitors to the mine will explore over 1,000 feet underground. Hear what it was like for miners operating the drills and find out what the blast monkeys were really up to. Since the tour heads into a real mine tunnel, it doesn’t matter what the weather brings.
