Best Breakfast in Breckenridge
October 1st, 2016
Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. No matter what type of breakfast you are looking for, Breckenridge has you covered! Here’s where you can find the best morning grub in the high country:
Blue Moose*: Located at the south end of Breckenridge, Blue Moose is the type of place you won’t want to leave. The friendly staff and amazing menu will keep you coming back for more. Get ready to test your limits because they don’t skimp on the serving size! Give the breakfast burrito, biscuits and gravy or any of their amazing omelets a try.
Columbine Cafe: Prepare for a little bit of a wait when you head to Columbine; it’s one of the most popular breakfast spots in town! Once you’ve had your first bites, you’ll understand why. Give the eggs benedict or the corned beef hash a try. Can’t decide between the two? Don’t! Go for the corned beef eggs benedict and have the best of both.
Daylight Donuts*: Breckenridge’s one-stop donut shop, Daylight Donuts will perfectly appease your sweet tooth. Choose from a wide variety of donuts and other pastries. If you’re doing it right, you’re going to walk away with not just donuts, but some of their sausage rolls as well!
Clint’s Bakery: Clint’s Bakery on Main Street has such an array of baked goods to choose from, we couldn’t even summarize it up in this post. It’s basically like a muffins, bread, croissant, quiche, bagel galore with fantastic brewed coffee to go with it. If you hit Clint’s on the right day, give their Snickerdoodle blend a try with a cinnamon roll on the side. You won’t be disappointed!
Cuppa Joe: Cuppa Joe will not only put the best specialty coffee (try the flat white!) in your hands, it will also put a pretty fantastic breakfast burrito in your hands. Sure, you can have a basic burrito, and it will be amazing, but you can also try the Salmon and Goat Cheese Burrito, or even the Sweet Potato Burrito and wow your tastebuds. Personally, we’re going to suggest mixing it up and going for the Green Chile Burrito. After all, Colorado is famous for its amazing green chile!
The Crown: Sit back, relax and enjoy a boozy coffee drink at the Crown! Their breakfast menu will provide a full stomach but a tough decision, with some amazing breakfast sandwiches available on bagel or croissant. Craving something comfortable? Try the French, with eggs, ham and cheddar cheese. Feeling a bit more adventurous? Go for the Magnum, packed with egg, chorizo, tomato, greens and veggie cream cheese, served on your choice of bagel. Top it off with the boozy favorite Breckenridge Coffee for a breakfast of champions!
*Cash only establishment.
