9th Annual Halloween Dodgeball Tournament

Who? Ages 18 & Up

Where? Breckenridge Recreation Center

When? Friday, October 27th from 6pm – 8pm

What? Do you and your friends have the chops to go head-to-head with witches, Disney princesses and Game of Thrones characters? Register today for the 9th Annual Halloween Dodgeball Tournament at the Breckenridge Rec Center! This match is made up of coed teams (must have at least two ladies on your team, fellas) of at least 6 players. Get ready to dodge, dip, dive, duck and dodge through the tournament in your best Halloween apparel.

Breckoween Pub Crawl

Who? Ages 21+

Where? The best bars in Breck!

When? Sunday, October 29th from 2pm – 8pm

What? Celebrate Halloween with an all-day pub crawl through some of the best haunts and dives in Breckenridge! Registration is $15 and you will receive amazing drink specials at every bar, free beer at the Motherloaded Tavern after check-in, food specials all day, costume contest, live DJ & more!

What? Each year the Breckenridge Police Department closes the above locations to motorized traffic to create safe and fun places for all the goblins and ghouls of Breck to fill their buckets with candy. Dress to the nines and hit town of Breckenridge for some family-friendly fun!

Walking History Tours

What? Join the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance for a walking tour of our historic town. The BHA offers six uniquely themed historic walking tours. You can join local socialite Mrs. Katie Briggle for Halloween Tea and homemade treats, and hear her stories about life in 1909.

If you need something a bit spookier, head out on the Tombstone Tales at Twilight Tour. This tour will actually begin at the Valley Brook Cemetery. Learn about the residents of the cemetery and some fascinating secrets of this resting place.

If that’s not spooky enough, the Breckenridge Haunted Tour is sure to get your skin crawling. This late-night stroll explores the darker side of the Historic District of our town. Your guide will share creepy and unexplainable stories, and you will enter one of the oldest homes in town, believed to be haunted by Mrs. Briggle.

If you really want creep the pants off your group, the Paranormal Investigations tour is sure to please. Meet at the Briggle House on Fridays throughout the month for an evening exploring some of the paranormal events rumored to occur inside the Briggle home. You will be joined by a paranormal investigator and a medium to provide insight into the paranormal activity of the historic home.
