PINE CREEK AND THE GAUNTLET ON THE ARKANSAS RIVER
Pine Creek is the steepest, most technical, and continuous section that Breckenridge Whitewater Rafting runs on the entire Arkansas River! Our Pine Creek rafting trips launch in the tiny town of Granite, which is only an hour and ten minutes from Breckenridge.
A few miles of Class III-IV will get you warmed up for the spectacular crux of the mile-long, Class V run, Pine Creek. The river narrows to half its width and drops 200 feet over the course of one rapid! This Class V is followed immediately by another pulsing, complex Class V called Triple Drop! For the best day of whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River, choose the full day Gauntlet Rafting Trip. This trip pairs the famous Pine Creek with the classic Class IV Numbers rafting trip. One of the greatest days of whitewater in the world!
The full day also includes our hot fajita lunch. This Breckenridge Whitewater Rafting trip demands good physical condition and a minimum age of 15 years. Now offering delicious breakfast, lunch & dinner options as an add on to these trips!
