Rafting & Rock Climbing, That’s What Breckenridge Does
This is a great way to spend a Saturday in the wilderness near Breckenridge. Start the day off with an adventurous rock climb in the Arkansas Valley. Our expert guides will show you the basics of belaying and rappelling (and of course tying knots) so you can climb your way to the top of a rock face. If you’ve never climbed before, this course is the perfect introduction. If you have previous climbing experience, our guides will point you in the direction of more difficult routes to give you a challenge. Once the rock climbing is finished, you will break for lunch in the beautiful outdoors. After lunch, you’ll take to the trees as you and your group experience the Colorado wilderness from above on our zipline tours. These ziplines are set up in our 44-acre Gold Camp property which is full of both dense forest and rocky terrain just over an hour from Breckenridge. You’ve never seen the Rockies quite this way before and you’ll never forget how breathtaking the view is from above.

Our experienced climbers will show you the ropes and give you a chance to climb simple routes or more challenging ones depending on your capability. Like rock climbing, whitewater rafting is a must when you’re visiting Breckenridge, and Browns Canyon has some of the best white water around. Take in the beauty of the canyon while you challenge yourself to paddle through some great white water.

Rock Climbing Adventure & The Numbers Whitewater Rafting
Combine the fun of rock climbing with a ride down the river through great whitewater. With our experienced climbers taking you out, we will show you the basics of rock climbing. If you are new to the sport you won’t be left behind. If you are an experienced climber we can also show you the more difficult routes to take to challenge your climbing skills. After a morning of climbing rock faces and learning the ins and outs of the sport, you and your group will break for lunch to prepare for an afternoon of whitewater fun. The Numbers are a series of rapids on the Arkansas River that take you through a significant drop in elevation in just a short amount of time. These rapids are numbered because only navigable rapids are given proper names. This river trip has some of the most exciting whitewater near Breckenridge and you don’t want to miss out!
