Take part in two of Colorado’s favorite summer mountain activities that will get you reaching for the sky and challenging raging whitewater in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. After a hot cup of coffee in the early hours of this full-day adventure, we’ll get you geared up for a morning of beginner and advanced rock-climbing routes in the beautiful Arkansas River Valley. Our experienced guides will get you started with some lessons on how to belay and rappel before letting you find new courage on several vertical rock faces. We’ll have everything you need, including climbing shoes, so just enjoy this secluded mountain landscape and have fun!
After a quick lunch break for some well-earned lunch, it’s time to take on one of the best intermediate/advanced whitewater rafting sections on the Arkansas River. The Numbers section offers boulder-strewn waters and Class III-V rapids that will keep your heart pumping for hours on end. The narrow channels and steep drops through gorgeous valleys reward the experienced rafter and adventurous beginners alike with the experience of a lifetime. Wetsuits and splash jackets are provided, just bring your water shoes!
