Mount Blue Sky Via Ferrata

Description

Built for adventure enthusiasts, this high altitude via ferrata course introduces ladders, rungs, cables, and bridges to traverse across intimidating cliffs. After loading into our customized Zip Trucks for a short drive through the historic Idaho Springs and up our 9-acre mountain property, you’ll get a short lesson on our “lobster claws” that make sure you are always connected to a cable on the course. Then, you’ll traverse along a series of iron rungs over 300 feet above the ground. This course also uses zip lines over Chicago Creek and rappelling to get you back to our outpost in Idaho Springs. Bring your camera for photos with miles of tall mountains, including the Continental Divide!

Extend your trip by combining a whitewater rafting experience through the awe-inspiring Clear Creek Canyon with your via ferrata adventure. Wetsuits and splash jackets are provided at no extra charge, just bring your river shoes!
