Our tough inflatable kayaks, or “duckies”, give you the freedom to take control of your journey down the impressive Colorado River. We’ll get you trained on proper safety before launch, then you’ll tag along with the rafts and your own kayaking guide for added safety. Then, set out and explore your preferred routes and drop into Class I and II whitewater – try going backward if you’re really up for some fun! The rougher water through the Gore Canyon can get the heart-pumping, but its very forgiving, even for the more beginner kayakers. So push yourself and try out some new moves while you ride the white waves. You can stop at the natural hot spring nestled into the canyon, or jump from a cliff for even more excitement.
Breckenridge Whitewater is owned by AVA, a Licensed River Outfitter – Issued by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under a special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
