Breckenridge Bike Week
June 10th, 2016
There should be more than one week of summer dedicated to biking but thankfully Colorado mountain towns offer just that. The Breckenridge Bike Week kicks off June 22 to June 26. There will be daily activities throughout Breckenridge for visitors and locals alike. Get outside and hop on the saddle!
On June 22, leave the car at home and pedal your morning commute to work. Join your fellow pedallers at the Blue River Plaza for a complimentary coffee and pancake breakfast hosted by PANTS (Physical activities and Nutrition Team of Summit).
The new Art district of Breckenridge is hosting a movie night starting at 9 pm featuring American Flyers. Start off your summer weekend exploring the Breckenridge Arts District along with weekly outdoor movie series, which features popular and classic films.
Come join the Mountain bike skills workshops designed for women, by women. Beginner and Intermediate workshops will be held Thursday, June 23rd and Saturday, June 25th. An advanced workshop will be held Friday, June 24th. The clinics are free, they just ask everyone to arrive on time with all the proper equipment.
Don’t miss out on the Group Night Ride to leave from the Breck Demo Day Expo at 6:00 pm on Friday June 24th. They will head up Boreas Pass to Bakers Tank where they will be welcomed with a warm fire and roast s’mores. There will be a free fireside dinner provided, make sure you bring a light to find your way down! The ride is approximately 6.5 miles on both pavement and dirt road.
